View calendar below FIRST and see if the nights that you want to stay with us are open.  (Generally, we do not take ‘walk-ins’ or ‘day-of’ reservations.)  Rooms already reserved are indicated, N or S with guest first name.  Nights with nothing in them are ‘Open.’ ‘N/A’ means Highland Garden House B & B is Not Available to NEW reservations for that period.  You may check your confirmed reservation by clicking on the blue text; your first name is shown for that room night(s). An M or W indicates that you have responded to an emailed, Month or Week, Reservation Reminder and have ReConfirmed.    We send an emailed Confirmation, with your nights blocked out on the Calendar.  This Confirmation asks you to reply that that is correct, if you do not reply to this Confirmation, your Reservation is automatically cancelled and removed from the Calendar, in 24 hours.

Because we only have two rooms to let, we cannot check you in at any time of the day or evening.  We ask that you give us an estimated time of arrival.  This allows us to be sure to be here when you arrive. (Lacking an ETA means we assume between 6 & 8 PM.)
If phoning, leave a message when prompted and we will return your call.  We require an email address for your Reservation Confirmation, so best to just start with an email.  Please Read This about check-in and check-out times and tips.

Mt. Vernon is 60 miles north of Seattle and about 75 miles south of Vancouver, B.C. Highland Garden House B & B is just 7 blocks from I-5, you can even see it from the upstairs rooms, but we are a world away.  The maps above can be zoomed in or moved about to give you an exact street map directions to HGH. Your map view will then print as displayed.  Below is a general map of our neighborhood. We are located at the Northeast corner of 8th and Highland.  We can arrange a pickup/drop off at Skagit Station if you are arriving via AMTRAK, which is labeled as “Mt. Vernon Skagit Transportation Center” on this map. See guest ride details here. Skagit Station is only 5 minutes away by car. ALL bus companies, national, regional and local stop here, in addition to Amtrak.
