A very relaxing, clean, and comfortable setting. Being served different types of breakfast every morning is delightful.

I drove from Seattle Airport to Mt Vernon and stayed the night at the Highland Garden House…. Easy drive in the Morning to the Anacortes Ferry to Sidney BC…. The Host, Dennis was very accommodating and helpful, and a really pleasant host. He also makes a great breakfast and coffee :-). The house and gardens are well maintained and lovely, located on a quiet residential street in a safe neighborhood. My room was clean and had a comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend the Highland Garden House. Happy Travels. Erin

My week long stay was lovely with great hot breakfasts every day. I especially enjoyed the home made muffins each morning with the hot tea. Dennis has a divine home taken care of with love and attention. My comfortable bed in the small room for one was a delight. The suggestions during my stay and the background of the area was wonderful. I will be returning to Highland Garden House as soon as my next trip to the Mt Vernon WA area is planned.
